Government
GP-TechServ have been working with a central government department in advising and supporting a reprocurement process for both Security and FM services. Drawing on our wide industry experience GP-TechServ have also been working with the internal teams in training them to operate the new contracts through mobilisation and into business as usual. GP-TechServ can support in improving service delivery, reprocuring new contracts and monitoring and measuring existing contracts to ensure value for money
Education
GP-TechServ have recently finished an upgrade of 22 cameras in a school setting. Security and wellbeing of pupils and staff is a high priority in today’s school facilities and GP-TechServ were able to provide a cost-effective solution in giving a broad view of the external areas of the school.
GP-TechServ have worked with a University Campus in improving their compliance to manned guarding British Standards. Improved ways of working maintained compliance with both British Standards and the Security Industry Authority Act
Commercial
GP-TechServ are currently working in partnership with a cashless car parking company and utilise ANPR technology to remove the need for coins, notes and cards in paying for parking. Accurate mounting on the cameras and rigorous testing are required to ensure maximum possible reads of car number plates.
Leisure
Following on from a number of expensive quotes GP-TechServ were able to test and utilise the existing cable infrastructure of a multi-camera system in a bar and restaurant in Kent. This allowed costs to be significantly reduced and allowed the owner to add additional cameras within his budget. A coverage of the ground floor close to 98% was achieved and the camera system has already been praised for the quality of its downloaded images.
Domestic
Dependent on the requirement and level of protection GP-TechServ are able to provide simple security systems with no monitoring and just external sounders, through to alarms monitored by alarm receiving centres. Clients not wanting the full cost of alarm receiving centre monitoring are able to monitor alarms on their smart devices. Systems can comprise of a mix of intruder alarms, CCTV, smoke/fire detection and video doorbells.
Industrial
Industrial security is one of the more complex environments to secure. Normally a mix of physical systems overlaid with electronic surveillance and monitoring provide an integrated approach in layering security from the perimeter to the product. A challenge is keeping unauthorised people out and stock or products in.
